Livermore via Lick Observatory

Today was the first time in just over 10 years that I traveled to the top of Mt. Hamilton and the first time that my return trip went down the other side to Livermore.

The first half of the ride, with a stop for photos at Lick Observatory was quite fun. Lots of winding turns and switchbacks, good practice to see how the bike leans and handles.

After a lunch break at Mr. Pickles in Livermore, we headed back to San Jose. My riding buddy is still on a permit so no freeways. By the time we got back it was already well into the 90's. Can't wait for cooler weather.
