Cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway to the east we head to Latigo Canyon Road, an uphill ride starting at 14 meters above sea level all the way up to 620 m. Be careful this road is full of tight turns and short straightaways and several hairpins. We then continue onto Mulholland Highway heading downhill to the east. Known as The Snake, Mulholland Highway consists of an downhill ride with many left and right turns through the Santa Monica Mountains. The road changes elevation from 620m down to 280m and is an extremely challenging ride, so beginners should take it easy and watch out for more experienced riders passing. Some riders have been known to crash into guardrails after not anticipating a tight turn in time, or sideswiping others on the road. Police are known to stake out the Mulholland Highway often and hand out many tickets a day, so please observe the speed limit and watch out for those tight corners and slanted roads. Also look out for pedestrians taking pictures, bicyclists and for people riding in their sports cars.

Yaow, the rear view camera video on Mulholland is impressive. I wonder how it compares to the Tail of the Dragon?
