Mount Diablo Summit is a technical motorcycle ride with a good combination of twisties, crazy elevation changes and breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay Area, as you’ll be 3800 feet high when you reach the top.
Summit Road, Mount Diablo - California
The ride starts at the Mount Diablo State Park North Gate Entrance Station and goes southbound along North Gate Road. Continue onto Summit Road, climbing up to Mount Diablo; as you get to the top of the hill you’ll enjoy a nice and scenic view of the Bay Area. Take Summit Road to head back and continue onto South Gate Road towards the intersection with Mount Diablo Scenic Blvd where you’ll find the end of the route.
