Mountain riding in Friuli–Venezia Giulia

The ride in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region runs through magnificent mountain roads combined with the scenic beauty of the Alps. The roads along this ride are really smooth and you will found virtually no traffic.

This motorcycle route starts in a small Austrian village named Sillian, from there you'll cross the border with Italy on the west; then, continue southbound on SS52. Once you get to the Padoia village, continue on SS532 which will give you some wonderful moments on the serpentine before Auronzo de Cadore.

Before you get to Lozzo di Cadore, take SP619. Highly recommend after Comeglians make a small loop and climb the mountain Monte Crostis, but be careful and ride slowly - the road is very narrow.

Between Ovarro and Pontebba you'll find a paradise for technical turns lovers. This section of the route won't give you a minute to relax but will certainly bring enormous pleasure combined with scenic breathtaking mountain views.

On the way back consider visiting the lake Weissensee, where you can rest and eat, enjoying the amazing view of the lake.
