OR - Blue Mountain Scenic Byway - From Baker to Condon City, Oregon

Located in Northeast Oregon, the Blue Mountain Scenic Byway features 183 miles of twisties, mountain elevations and scenic vistas. As you ride through the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest you’ll be surrounded by dense pine forests, valleys, pristine lakes and meadows. At some point of the road you’ll reach 2000 feet of elevation, providing a breathtaking panoramic view of the area.

The motorcycle route starts at Baker City, OR and goes north west towards Condon City. Head south for a short distance along Route 7 until you get to Granite Hill Road which turns into Bull Run to Baker Road 24, then continue onto NFD 73 and NF-052 until you get to Condon City, where you’ll find the end of the ride.

Spring and Fall are the best time to ride as it can get really hot during Summer or the road can be closed at higher elevations due to snow during Winter.
