Southern Maryland Cruise Around

This ride starts Charlotte Hall Maryland at the north end of town at the WaWa. What is really cool about this ride is that it follows many of the Amish roadways and showcases many of their lumber mills, farms, and construction shops so please be aware and keep an eye out for the horse and buggies on these routes. One of the other sites on the route is Piney point and St. George's Island at the southern terminus of the ride and the Ruddy duck hotel restaurant which is really open only on weekends during the summer season. The famous Solomons Island is just slightly east of this route and easily reached 5 miles away so keep that on your list as a great place visit as well. Also while you were down in the area visit the Patuxent River naval base which is nearby as well.
