Waverly in Cumberland

I missed adding the beginning of the ride. Sorry about that! We left at 10am from the Pacific Rim Mall in Port Alberni and headed up and over the hump to Bowser for some yummy 'pre lunch' munches. Heading up the old island highway, the traffic was good and moved at a good pace. Entering Cumberland we ran into a bit of construction. Not the easy kind either. Had a yummy lunch at the Waverly Pub then home via the old island highway again. We stopped for ice team at Whiskey Creek store - but no one ate ice cream. Then home again before the rains hit.
All in all a good jaunt.
