2023 MotoGP Title Up For Grabs This Weekend in Spain

When the checkered flag drops on Sunday there will be a Ducati rider in first place in the 2023 MotoGP World Championship final standings. The question is "who?"

Defending champion Francesco 'Pecco' Bagnaia, Ducati Lenovo Team, has a 21-point lead heading into the final races of the season at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo of Cheste in Valencia, Spain.

Jorge Martín, Pramac Racing Team, is the closest challenger with 416 points to Bagnaia's 437 points. Marco Bezzecchi, Mooney VR46 Racing Team, rounds out an all-Ducati top three with 326 points. Bagnaia finished second last week at Qatar while Martin placed 10th and Bezzecchi was 13th.

Practice is Friday with qualifying races and the Sprint race on Saturday and the 27-lap main race on Sunday.
Bagnaia won his first MotoGP world title last year in the final race at Valencia, becoming the first Italian rider on an Italian bike to win this class. 

Only time will tell if he can repeat the performance this year.
