2024 Daytona Bike Week Has Races and Events For Everyone

The 83rd Daytona Bike Week hits high gear today and wraps up on March 10.

The 54th annual Daytona Supercross takes to the dirt at the Daytona International Speedway with action getting underway at 7 p.m.
There's the Blessing of the Bikes on Sunday, March 3, along with a free pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 10:30 with the blessing at 11 a.m. Lord knows we can use all the help we get. 
Another racing highlight in a week paced full of them is the American Flat Track's marquee event, the Flat Track at Daytona International Speedway with Short Track I on Thursday, March 7 and Short Track II on Friday, March 8.
The Daytona 200 Superbike race takes place the weekend of March 7 to 9 also with the 200 on Saturday, March 9. The King Of The Baggers Championship racers will also compete on the Speedway high banks this year along with the opening round of the Twins Cup Championship.

One unique event you might not want to miss is the 2024 Burning Bike where a 75-foot-long wooden motorcycle goes up in flames. All during the week riders are encouraged to write the names of departed loved ones on the bike as a tribute. Of course there's also bike shows/exhibits, high wire acts, stilt walkers, drinks, food, and a bikini contest. Typical bike week fare.

All week long there will be swap meets and stunt shows and bike shows and music and amateur racing as well.
