@teramuto a modern "cafe style" build. The donor bike I found is perfect -- low mileage, but in need of a fair bit of TLC (suspension, wheels, brakes all kinda rough), which is fine since there won't be much left other than the motor and frame 😉 So far here's what I've got going on (work mostly still to be done, so far been planning and sourcing parts): - front end: from '06 Yamaha R6 (incl. clipons, brakes) - swingarm: a modified swingarm from a Suzuki TL1000S (keeping CB dual shock setup. This is all set to go and have a custom offset front sprocket on it's way from Germany to make it all line up nicely) - Ohlins rear shocks (pic above) - Carpy's full exhaust (pic above). This does have a baffle I can install, but is gonna be loud! 🙂 - new Keihin CR31 carbs w/ pod filters + Dyna 2000 ignition system - new Braking wheels (found an awesome deal on these sweet wheels! I think they are the perfect wheels for this.) - modified VooDoo Moto rear sets - replace old levers, throttle, guages, headlight, etc - cafe style seat - etc.. etc..
