Custom noise reduction earbuds under $20!

Snellville, Georgia, United States

I got this idea off of a YouTube video. Use Radians custom molded earplug kit, push half an application down the ear canal, then insert the cheap earbuds (remove rubber tips first) just far enough that they don't stick out the side so far that the helmet would hit them. Then add the rest of the application around the earbud. I found that if you leave a little of the back side of the earbud showing, you can gently remove it later if you need to replace them due to damage. After 10 minutes, follow the directions to remove the mold from your ear and let set for a couple hours. Once cured, go back with a small knife and clear a small channel from the speaker to the side of where your ear canal will be. The result is a custom fit earbud that generates more than enough sound to be heard at highway speeds, but doesn't risk hurting your hearing by being too loud.

I hope this offers a cheap alternative to all the custom earbuds out there so more people start protecting their hearing. Let me know if anybody has questions.
