Distracted Trucker Wipes Ducati Monster Out
Well, this is hard to watch. A London-based moto vlogger captured the moment a truck taking a corner wipes out his Ducat Monster.
As the truck is taking a left turn, it seems the bike ended up in the driver's blind spot which resulted in the truck ploughing right into the bike. Fortunately, the rider was able to jump away from the bike and he didn't get injured. To make things worse, the driver didn't even realize he had just crushed the motorcycle.
Bigsmokeandthemonster, later on commented on his video, "Finally the shock is kicking in...I realise how lucky I am to be in one piece today! I uploaded this video with the hope it will raise awareness of how dangerous the roads can be and how we all need to keep in mind hazards like blind spots! There are lessons for all of us here going forward! Please stay safe out there folks!"

THat's UK roads for you. Horribly narrow and not designed for modern cars, let alone trucks.
The truck is 100% at fault as it took the corner on the wrong side of the road without stopping to check it was clear. The fact the "motorcycle was in his blind spot" makes it worse as it means he's obviously aware of a limitation of his vehicle and proceeding without checking. And if that's his excuse, the truck driver would have been more likely to hit a car - they're even lower down
