Early morning ride around Hartebeespoort Dam

Shot was taken with an iPhone....the route itself is a regular and popular one with thousands of Johannesburg & Pretoria bikers riding around the dam over weekends. It's also close to the Cradle of Mankind with some great roads and scenery. Typically I'll cover 290 km with a stop for breakfast along the way.

I like that last shot the best... what's the story of your trip? is it a "regular route"? or an exploration? Is there a significance to this destination (or stop) for you? You are truly fortunate to have such scenery close by... thanks for posting!
