Markham, Ontario, Canada

Adventure riders and sport riders in Canada will be excited about the updated models in the 2024 Honda lineup.

The 500s are aiming to hit that sweet spot for new riders, those returning to motorcycling after some time away from bikes, or experienced motorcyclists looking for another machine to add to their collection.
They are all powered by twin-cylinder 471cc, 8-valve liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engines which are now equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Each bike also has upgraded LED lighting, Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks, and 5-inch full colour TFT screens.

The NX500 was known as the CB500X and is Honda's 'light middleweight' entry. NX, in case you're wondering, means 'New X-over' because it's ready to take you over here and over there. It's go lighter wheels and upgraded suspension settings for better ride quality.
The selling price, which varies from the MSRP, is $9,422 as it includes freight, PDI and applicable fees. It is available in Pearl White.
The CB500F features aggressive new styling for 2024 with a ‘wedge’ silhouette weighted forward with a slim rear section, muscular fuel tank and sharp new nose cone fairing that includes side ducts for smooth airflow around the upper tank.
The selling price is $9,072 and the colour is Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic.

The sporty 2024 CBR500R has 'RR-R' styling inspired by the CBR1000RR-R for improved aerodynamics. The design includes winglets on the angled fairing to direct airflow. This aerodynamic package contributes to a linear steering feel with increased feedback for front tire grip. There are clip-on handlebars and aluminum footpegs for an aggressive riding position.
The six-speed gearbox comes with a slipper clutch for when you feel like banging off some hard downshifts.
The selling price for this small but mighty Grand Prix Red sportbike is $9,322.

The Twins

The Africa Twin and Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES are both arriving this year with more technology and increased performance.
The proven 1084cc parallel twin engine is the heart of the Africa Twin family and it now delivers more torque lower in the rev range. Changes to the exhaust system also help increase performance.

The Africa Twin features a traditional manual transmission, while the Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES will be available with either a manual or a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The DCT is refined to benefit from the engine’s increased performance, with earlier downshifts. The system also benefits from improved cornering detection and better initial launch between first and second gears.
The Africa Twin now has tubeless tires plus an updated front fairing with a new, larger five-way adjustable windscreen for maximum visibility or increased weather protection. The selling price is $18,472 and it's available in Grand Prix Red.
The 2024 Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES has a new 19-inch front wheel, a 20mm reduction in suspension stroke plus a wider front tire, all for increased grip and feedback. This front end change lowers the centre of gravity of the Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES, for improved low speed manoeuvrability and ground reach.
It's also got the new fairing and windscreen and comfort is further improved with a 15mm thicker urethane foam cushion with optimised density to reduce long-distance riding fatigue.
Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES (with manual transmission) sells for $22,322 (includes freight, PDI and applicable fees) and it comes in Pearl White while the also Pearl White DCT version is being sold for $23,322 (Includes freight, PDI and applicable fees).
