McNabb, the defending champ, was the top qualifier and grabbed the holeshot in the opening moto only to drop to sixth following a hard crash on lap three, but he battled back and finished second. In the day's second moto, he rode a steady race to once again finish second for his third overall win in four races this season. He now leads the series by 10 points.
“Today was a tough one for me," McNabb said. "I had a pretty nasty crash there and hurt my shoulders, but we pushed through it and walked away with the overall for the day, which I’m stoked with. Onto more sand now at Sand Del Lee next weekend!”

Benoit placed fourth in the opening moto and earned the win in the second moto for a solid second-place finish for the day behind his teammate.

Pettis looked good in the 450 Pro Class as the second-fastest qualifier. Moto finishes of second and third earned him second overall on the day and kept him firmly in the championship hunt.

The next round is Sunday, July 16 on Ottawa, ON.
