The 2024 Triumph Daytona 660 - A Real-World Sportbike

The Daytona name is not new to Triumph motorcycles, but the Daytona 660 is all-new for 2024.

The 660 is designed to deliver a blend of performance and real-world usability while offering 17% more power and 9% more torque than the Trident 660. The inline triple not only offers a distinctive three-into-one exhaust note but it also delivers 80% of its 69Nm peak torque from a mere 3,125 rpm while the total output of 95hp is on hand at 11,250 rpm. 
That engine delivers its power through a six-speed gearbox with a Torque Assist clutch and optional Shift Assist. The 2024 Daytona 660 makes sure that its output is used in the best manner possible thanks to three ride-by-wire riding modes - Sport, Road, Rain. A new safety feature, the Emergency Deceleration Warning system, activates the hazard lights during heavy braking to keep the rider safe and make other drivers in the area aware.

Suspension is handled with a 41mm Showa upside down, big-piston fork up front mated to a Showa monoshock out back. Five-spoke cast aluminum wheels, shod with Michelin Power 6 tires, keep unsprung weight low. Braking is handled by 320mm discs with four-piston calipers on the front wheel, with a single-piston sliding caliper mated to a 220mm rear disc.
The Daytona 660 features an 810mm seat height (with an accessory 785mm seat available), split rider and passenger seats, narrow stand-over, clip-ons above the triple clamp and an optimized footpeg position for all-day rider comfort.

You can get all the pertinent operating information you need through the colour TFT screen integrated into a white-on-black LCD display that is compatible with the My Triumph Connectivity System for navigation, phone, and music interaction. All functions can be controlled through the switch gear.
