The Triumph TE-1 motorcycle: A new standard for electric street bikes?

Project Triumph TE-1, a completely electric sports bike created in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE), Integral Powertrain, and WMG, was introduced by Triumph Motorcycles in July of 2022

According to Nick Bloor, CEO of Triumph Motorcycles, "Everyone on the team is happy with the achievements we have accomplished with our partners and how the consequences of the project will feed into the electric future to come from Triumph. We are tremendously delighted to be able to present Project Triumph TE-1's successful conclusion, where the prototype demonstration well exceeded our initial goals and expectations.”

In this video 👇🏾 According to Triumph, the TE-1 prototype has achieved all of its testing goals and has set new benchmarks for the electric motorcycle industry, including battery and range performance.

Many people are telling us that for the first time, they are seeing an electric motorcycle as desirable, and something that they would genuinely want to own,” Sargent said. “Being the first step in our journey towards developing our future approach to electric powertrain technology, the TE-1 prototype and the incredible results it has achieved in its intensive testing program have provided crucial insights and capabilities that will ultimately guide our future development.”
