Tunnel of Love: A Man, A Woman And A Norton Café-Racer
Red Bluff, California, United States of America
Never mind the bullocks! Edward Tudor-Pole, formerly of the Sex Pistols stars in a short 10 minute film called the Tunnel of Love, 1997. The film features an original score by Joe Strummer who was the co-founder, lyricist, rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist of the British punk rock band The Clash.
Can't say Tudor-Pole is a great actor but he looks angry and that works in the story which goes something like this: Pissed off because he got kicked out of the Sex Pistols, Tudor-Pole goes for a ride on his Norton Comander around London. Pulls up to a hot blonsome in a Mercedes cabriolet and stalls his shiny expensive bike. Will he recover his honor? Will he seduce her with his motorbike?
The film is 12 minutes in black and white, and is full of symbols that originated the cafe racer movement. Also includes a cameo by Mark Wilsmore, the patron saint of the legendary Ace Cafe, London.
Enjoy the ride!
