Wash Motorcycle at home: A complete guide cleaning

We live in a world of dust where there are plenty of dust and mud and other dirt. These are not only harmful for bike and also for people and environment also. So, to keep our bike fit we have to wash our motorbike regularly, or problems may show up. And if a biker rides his motorbike inside Dhaka regularly then he should wash the bike daily.

Many people find the bike cleaning process tough and don’t want to do that because of their laziness. There is a great solution for these type of guys. You can wash your motorbike properly in a little time if you follow the procedures stated below. These procedures are collected from a professional bike racing team.

We have to know about the materials which we need to wash the bike:

A bucket to keep the shampoo water.
Shampoo or a high quality cleaner.
gloves.
Bug and carbon remover.
Engine cleaner.
Tooth brush.
A brush to clean the wheels.
Wheel cleaner.
100% cotton sponge.
Soft cotton towel or rag.
A fresh piece of cloth to wipe.

We have been aware about the important things which are needed to clean the motorbike. Now, we will know about the process. We can wash the bike with either just water or shampooed water or both. It depends on your choice. But if you do that only with water then the water should be warm.
We should have the sponge ready and have to keep it in such place that it does not come with interaction of the ground. You have to use the bug and tar remover to remove dirt from different areas of the bike body. You should make sure that you don’t press the sponge mightily on any parts of thee bike. And you should no use the same sponge in different places. There are two types of parts in a motorbike. i) Hard parts and ii) Soft Parts. So, you have to clean those in different manner.

You don’t need micro fiber to clean motorbike, instead you can use a piece of soft and fresh cloth. You have to use cleaner to remove boot stains from the exhaust pipe. And you might have to use tooth brush for those parts of motorbike where your hands don’t reach. You have to use degreaser to wash out the oily areas of motorbike. And the toughest job is to clean the wheels. You will need a long brush to clean them. And you might use wheel cleaner. You will need a bucket of warm shampooed water to clean the painted parts of motorbike. You have to use soft clothes or sponge to clean them.

To clean the painted parts of motorbike you must use 100% cotton clothes. Or, paints can be faded from different areas of motorbike. And we will need another bucket of warm water to wash out the shampooed water from the body of the bike. We should use a fresh, soft and dry piece of cloth to soak the water up from the bike body.

This is a great process of washing motorbike. And to me it is the easiest process. I don’t know any easier process than this to clean motorbike. I think you would also find it very easy and time-saving. Motorbike is a love for most of us. So, take a little trouble for it to keep it fit. So, I think this process which is showed above will make our task easy. And maintaining your motorbike on your own and riding your bike after that is very delightful.
